A couple weeks ago James Lipton and I became fast friends at the Igor premier.. be that because of my charm and A-mAzing personality, or simply because I could provide him safe passage through the pre-party,.. we may never know.

Dolly Parton is NOT just a typewriter with tits!
I just got back from the Ahmanson Theater in downtown LA where my gang got
together to watch Dolly's pre-broadway debut of "9 to 5." It was a fun
night out with the boys that involved a lot of toe tapping and uncontrolled
sing-along sessions to the tunes that Dolly herself wrote. A note of
caution though, if you're thinking of saving a couple bucks by sitting in
the balcony..don't. We had a good time, but my vertigo was kicking in by
the second half.

The Lifehouse concert at the LA fair produced some pretty amazing
pictures... but not so much of the band..

Creepy Digital Voices
Just got back from a mellow night at the Grove where my roomy and I saw Eagle Eye. The flick was definitely worth escaping the 93 degrees of my apartment for some air conditioning, PLUS it was a great way to feed all the conspiracy theories already in my head. What more could a sweaty boy ask for?
Go see it.. "no" is not an option.. they are watching.

Marc Horowitz is not, not my new homeboy
Last week at the Namco blogger party I got to hang out with the lovely iJustine and her buddy-boy, the rad Marc Horowitz , who I immediately recognized, but couldn't immediately place. Found out he looked so darn familiar because he was that 7 Days in a Sentra dude -- an ad campaign for Nissan I worked on at Chiat\Day.
I'm more or less convinced he's an evil genius and now I'm obsessed with him... restraining order pending.
